gamma is not harmful in the least.

What in the EFF? Are you serious, man? Gamma radiation is the most energetic, and deadly, ionizing radiation there is. It takes at least several feet of concrete to stop it, depending on the distance of where it's being emitted from and blows right through the human body, obliterating cells and causing immense damage to all bodily cells as it does.

I’m glad you picked that up. Gamma ray bursts occur during black hole events. If such a burst happened pointed at Earth anywhere within our galaxy (100,000 lt/yr) it would rip the ozone layer off and cause a major extinction. You don’t mess with gamma radiation.
