Affirmative action is such a NICE way to assure racial balance.
Racial balance is actually immaterial to an effective military, and is antithetical to real merit. Individuals have merit, not demographic categories. “Fairness”, as applied to diversity, is a handicap.
“Wokeness” is a fad that shall burn out at the first engagement with an enemy force, and the response is less than enthusiastic among the rank and file.
