Neither are nations built on the gold wedding bands and tooth-fillings your grandparents tore from the bodies of the innocents you slaughtered.

Question: Often when there is dissent expressed in the United States against policies of the Israeli government, people here are called anti-Semitic. What is your response to that as an Israeli Jew?

You are correct. Some of the most vicious and strident Jew killers and torturers were Ukrainians. Their cruelty and sadism was legendary in WWII. They would do ghastly things to Jews that even German SS men shied away from. And they did those demonic things with great gusto, efficiency and - I dare say - joy in their black hearts. The history is there for all to see.
