Luke was not a Mary idolator, was not a painter, nor was he going to fashion or make something in the image of Christ, nor would he have had paints and canvass that would have survived 2,000 years and have painted in a medieval form.
Making a painting of someone you know does not make you an idolator.
The image is directly on cedar wood not canvas (reputedly from a wood table in the household of the Holy Family).
There are plenty of historical references to the painting in the first millennium, when it spent a lot of time in Constantinople.
I am a Catholic, and never heard of the 2,000 holy toenails of St. John the Apostle. Not saying there aren't phonies out there, but that doesn't mean that every purported relic is a phony.

“Logic leans a lot farther toward darker skin and black hair rather than light skinned and blonde hair.”
Logic would lean to the complexion of Jews in the Old Testament.
Jesus had to have someone point him out to the Romans. He looked like the average Jew.

Okay; I get it now, sorry.
Given Biden’s mental state, he would no doubt mix up Jesus and Obama.

Interesting:
“. The DeWolf family made a fortune as one of the nation’s leading slave-trading families; Gibbs married a sea captain who worked for the DeWolfs.
Both women had been listed as donors to the American Colonization Society, founded to support the migration of freed slaves to Liberia in Africa. The controversial effort was overwhelmingly rejected by Black people in America, leading many former supporters to become abolitionists instead.”
Nearby Newport was the home port for dozens of US slave ships back in the day with many of the slave ships owned by rich Jewish Newport merchants. Newport had the largest Synagogue in the US at the time.
But then, facts and truth that
are uncomplimentary to Jews is by definition antisemitic. So this must not be mentioned.

Named in honor of James Monroe...
it was to be the land of liberty and the black man’s paradise.
As a finished nation it is the 7th poorest nation in Africa, highest per capita corruption, highest unemployment, highest illiteracy and needless to say crime.
If that is Blackmans paradise, Chicago, Detroit, and Baltimore are almost there.
Seriously though, look up James Monroe and the riot America had when slavery was outlawed.
Also note the stupid freed blacks who went to Africa enslaved the indigenous from 1820 to 1997. That was the first lie in lie-beeria, the land named after liberty. Truly farsical but true.
Black power at work. BLM in the driver’s seat.
power of ignorance.

I interviewed a lady who was at & helped author the book on Benghazi which became the movie. She said the American contractors were routinely stopped like depicted at the beginning of the movie because they wore their beards long like the Taliban. She said Libyans were more European/ Middle Eastern in appearance & culture & suspected those outside the norm.

Mizrahim define themselves as Sephardim (which refers to Spain) generally. The term Mizrahim itself originated only when the State of Israel came to be, while Sephardim when referring to a group dates approximately to the 15th century.
The Bible says that Jesus is a direct descendant of King David by birth, too, by the line of Solomon.
