I’m not surprised that it hasn’t sold. It looks very cold, and like some kind of institution, not a house or home.

Small mansions are better, imo. Have one or two amenities that you will use and the rest should be just a house.

Yeah, like an institution. In fact, the exterior looks just like a new medical clinic here — One for immigrant workers, no less. All I like about the entire house is the skylight. And no indoor pool (anymore)... What a ripoff.

That cold shade of grey is being used EVERYWHERE. Two years ago we were house shopping, and ALL the houses that were redecorated had grey Pergo flooring or grey tile, grey walls, grey doors. I am not that sensitive to colors, but I found it painful. The other new trends are lack of doors on the Master Bathroom heading into the Master Bedroom, and some houses had that dopey rolling barn door thing on interior doors. (That only works with high ceilings and a rustic look, not with barren grey everywhere.)

Good description. Was thinking the same. The architecture is dull as dishwater. It looks like it could-be the campus of a new-ish rehab clinic or not-particulary-fancy private school.

That was the impression I had, as well. What a drab, uninviting place. Nothing about it says comfortable or homey.
