Maybe if he didn’t live in a white neighborhood, he’d be able to get rid of it.

Meghan Markle had redecorated Frogmore Cottage to look like the interior of an American hotel (with some insanely expensive vanity flourishes). Such people are out there. Meghan Markle hardly counts as any arbiter of good taste. Of outright trash, sure.

The double doors from the original Playboy Mansion were not appealing at all. Yes, all that welding took time, but it ends up looking like smoke sodden, overly gilded, overly dead lillies.
That exudes a warning, not a greeting, in my opinion.
“Do Not Enter!!”, say those doors.
All the art I saw was bad art. Cheaply produced looking, as though chosen by someone who didn’t understand how to pick interior art for living spaces. If the pieces were selected because they were done by black artists, fine, that is his choice, but there are lots of better black artists and craftsmen out there.

We see a lot of this in Palm Beach County - and it was common in Los Altos/Los Altos Hills CA as well - to wit: Anyone with $10M+ to spend on real estate wants their dream expressed; they do not want to spend $10M+ to buy someone else's attempt to express their own dream. Evander Holeyfield had a property outside of Atlanta that some suggested he spent $115M on. Three swimming pools, basketball courts, helipad, etc., etc., etc. It was foreclosed upon after he tried to sell it for several years. It auctioned for something like $9-$10M.

Dated, cold as a witch’s you-know-what, and dirty, stains everywhere, apparently the kind that don’t wash out.

The architect clearly had no inspiration or vision.

Sell it to our military! Would be a great place for active duty soldiers in war zones for R&R....

You’d’ think our military could make good use of it.....perhaps Mark Zukerberg for one of his investments.

They should just sell the 'outdated' and drabby furnishings for what they can get.
It doesn't look like a home...maybe a motel or sports retreat.

Great idea, then the people can have Jackson Park back.

"Jordan had the house — and the surrounding property — built from scratch to his personal tastes."
His taste is all in his mouth. That is one fugly place. No wonder he can't sell it. It has a stark coldness to it. A correctional facility has more character than that. I know, I worked in them for 25 years.

That was the impression I had, as well. What a drab, uninviting place. Nothing about it says comfortable or homey.

Looks like a place you'd hold conferences at...but you wouldn't want to live in it.

No doors on the bathroom???
I have never been in any house built since the late 69’s, except for a minute or two.

Meghan Markle had redecorated Frogmore Cottage to look like the interior of an American hotel [...]She's probably seen the interior of lots of motel rooms, at least for half an hour at a time, so that's understandable.
