The person who benefits the most from the cheat machine will have the best chance. That means a democrat, not a republican.
In sports there is an old saying that if you’re not cheating then you aren’t trying hard enough. Guess the Rs better get to it!
What showdown? I give Ron DeSantis a week sweating it out in the lime light of a declared candidate. Its not going to be pretty.
15 Days to Stop the Spread was a Trump policy. There was a national lockdown for a couple of weeks that morphed into three years.
Eight years later, against a different opponent.
That’s simply not true. His record as governor disproves what you’re claiming.
His record in Florida proves you wrong. But keep saying it. Maybe repeating it will make it so.
I’m not misrepresenting anything.
So his job I’m government proves he hasn’t gotten all his money from public sector jobs...”OH Yeah!”
Check
confined.

confirmed
His record as governor disproves your repeated claim that he’s some sort of Bushie Establishment RINO. He’s done the opposite of what they wanted him to do, and Trump has attacked him for it.
The Establishment fears a DeSantis presidency because they know he’s conservative, effective, and tough. And he doesn’t back down.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Nonsense! Dude’s been bought and paid for the the Uniparty. He’s their preferred opposition candidate because they’re confident if they somehow screw up the plan to steal the 2024 election they can control him. Just another Ivy League Bushbot on Paul Ryan’s doggie leash! Pay him no mind!
Nonsense! A flat-out lie. He has taken the opposite position from the Uniparty on the Trump indictments, on Disney, on Bud Light, on illegals, on virtually every issue. He has taken what I thought were MAGA positions.
Until Trump started attacking him for it, claiming that Florida is horrible (but he continues to live there), that Charlie Crist was a better governor, that we should end the Bud Light boycott, that the Disney thing was wrong, etc. He's attacked virtually every position DeSantis has taken, especially the ones most FReepers would agree with.
He even attacked DeSantis for opening Florida too early!
They hate Rump; they fear DeSantis.
This has been posted here repeatedly but is false. The President doesn’t have the authority to shut down anything outside U.S. government jurisdiction. The CDC can’t impose restrictions like that. It can only issue guidelines.
In fact, some of the most restrictive lockdowns were imposed in March/April 2020 in a group of northeastern states after their governors complained that they weren’t getting any direction from the Trump administration.
DeSantis can do what most governors who’ve been elected to POTUS do. He has a group of highly competent conservative folks around him in Tallahassee who could make the move to DC. He doesn’t need to hire Deep State operatives and then wonder why they turn on him.
And he doesn’t have a liberal daughter and son-in-law to mess everything up like Trump, either. They were a large part of his problem and there’s no guarantee they won’t be mucking about the White House making bad decisions again if he’s elected.
I wasn’t born yesterday. We heard the same crap about George W. Bush in 2000 and Jeb Bush in 2016.
Ron DeSantis is a career government hack who will do whatever he’s told.
A good many of DeSantis supporters believe that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. But that doesn’t mean that he should automatically get the nomination because he was wronged. Yes he was, but we don’t do coronations in this country. If Trump wants it, he needs to compete in the arena of ideas. But Trump’s entire attitude seems to be that he’s owed something, and it’s up to other GOP hopefuls to get out of the way and up to GOP voters to hand it to him. Otherwise, they and we are “disloyal” in Trump’s eyes.
As a conservative woman, I can tell you that there are plenty of conservative women who are up to here with Trump’s childishness and arrogant entitlement.
Bingo.
If Trump says DeSantis is bad, then his sycophant followers turn on Ron as well. I never heard all these complaints except that Ron was not as good as Trump.
It really is cult-like. I was going to point out the irony of a posting from Twitter that was shown here…to show how many were at the rally. Someone posted a brilliant meme about the characteristics of a cult.
On Twitter, it’s often referred to as #Cult45.
