Army officer says squatter moved into her DeKalb home while she was on duty, now she can’t evict him

There are indeed a lot of areas (lib crapholes where you simply cannot evict a squatter). The law is often in favor of the squatter and the cops and actual owners can be all but locked out.

Did you read my link in post 100?

Turns out that there is something that the police could do and it was very simple.

So why didn't they do it before she called the media?

Why haven't they done it in other cases?

I bet I know the answer.

Here is one tiny aspect of having a bum living in your house...It is crucial to remember that the squatter may only be removed by a sheriff with a court order. Any attempt by the landowner to evict the squatter themselves (by cutting off the amenities or changing the locks, for example) is unlawful and may result in legal action.

This little bit of legaleez below took about ten seconds call up.

Google it yourself, look around. You CAN get squatters in AND out of your home, but it isn't alwayw easy. This person probably benefited from her military ties...I didn't post this to get you worked up...just passing along the small bit of info I possess on the topic.
