A freshly made sandwich?

At Arby's?! Good luck with that.

When my daughter was young she asked me why the fast food burger place hamburgers don't look like the pictures. I explained to her that they hire somebody to sit on them before placing them in the bag. She half believed me.

It wouldn't surprise me if Arby's gets their rolls from the day-old bakery.

At least you didn’t tell her how they made the patties

It depends on what Arby's you go to.

There are two in my area, one near my house, one near where I work. The one near my house is sub-par. It is just off the expressway and is for people who are driving through on their way north. The food is not rotten but it is not good. Clean restrooms though. Their customer base is people who will stop there a couple of times a year.

The other near where I work is just between the shopping district and the downtown area and the customers are mostly locals. The food is is somewhere between acceptable and good leaning more toward good. Their customer base is people who will eat there a couple times a week. OR they will go down to the deli which is a bit slower and a bit more expensive but the food is between good and yummy leaning more toward yummy.

The manager feels the hot breath of the deli on his heels so he makes sure what they serve is a step up from most.

Still do not look like the pictures through.

Probably because what they show in the pictures is made of vinyl. :)
