Well, there is that and the need to modify the drug slightly so big Pharma can file a patent on it and sell if for megabucks. Then their favorite politicians can grandstand about putting people before profits and get them to sell it for just a few bucks less.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head about why there are so many hysterical negative articles about it. Also if obesity gets under control in the US think how many billions of dollars a year that’ll cost the health care industry.
