I’m glad she finally got her automobile back that she loved and identified with, had fond memories of her humble ride. It stinks that it took an additional 4 years of bureaucracy to get it back. At least the last judge made a common sense decision to allow her to get it back, without paying the used automobile dealer. After all, she has at least another $1000 to spend on repair bills and cleaning it up.

The DMV deletes the stolen records. This is like on The Simpsons where police chief Clancy comes into work and deletes all the 911 calls on the answering machine.
