Tuesday, the sheriff said that his department and the community are struggling. The sheriff is heartbroken but also angry that there has been another member of law enforcement killed in the line of duty.

“she leaves behind a wife and a three-month-old baby boy.”
Go woke and get dead.
That is nonsensical. She was killed in the line of duty as a law enforcement officer regardless of her lifestyle.
Abhorrent lifestyles imply a certain amount of abnormality.
Agreed, killing cops isn’t going to solve our cop problems,
but she should not have been a sworn cop to begin with.
She was killed in line of duty. Yes.
But she obviously was not right mentally.
And part of the article makes that much clear. Too bad that she was in a job for which she was not fit.
BTW - she also was not fit be be a mother/parent given her choice (or is it “choice”) of “marriage” partner.
Sorry for anyone dying violently, but making special rules for “special people” is not responsible or justified. Needs to be stopped.
Being a police officer isn’t even among the top ten most dangerous jobs in america.
