Bud Light is terrible beer, the AD campaign with Dylan Mulvany is one of the biggest blunders in corporate history, but there is no reason to beat up on the clueless.
Seriously, you can see how this goes down, a bud light purchaser comes out of the store and head to their car, someone in between makes a dumbass comment about Bud Light and its own at that point.

I need to purchase some Bud Light as a joke for a family member visiting from out of state.
I’m contemplating how to do that with minimal embarrassment, and how I might explain it to the cashier at check out if I feel the need.
This is why it was such a colossal screw up for AB. It’s not really “boycott” in the traditional sense, that being pissed of customers of a certain political persuasion intentionally not purchasing a product.
This is MUCH deeper. Their customers now have to intentionaly buy their product knowing they will be judged by others as either a fag/tranny or supporter of such people.
They cannot buy BL and remain politically neutral on the transgender degradation of our society. They are forced to take a stand on a divisive political/social issue, that is NOT supported by average Americans no matter what the media try’s to make us believe.
And because there are so many interchangeable options, nearly identical in quality and price sitting right next to BL on the shelf, customers can effortlessly make the “choice” to avoid all that.
I’m still stunned at the magnitude of this screw up.
