Yes he is gay, and yes I am sure you would find many things that you would disagree with from Glenn Greenwald - but that said, I am willing to bet there are also a lot of the things he writes and I have read that are right in line with a lot of conservative positions.

Taking glee in someone dying over the death of a loved one is not in my DNA.
As opposed to gay marriage as I am personally. There are may decent folks who don’t push it on us and have become champions in the struggle for this nation. They have been physically and verbally attacked. And have paid a dear price in other ways. Greenwald is 1.
I used to hate this guy when he wrote for Salon, but I’ve come to greatly admire him as a rare journalist that personally paid a huge price for breaking dozens of stories on the rotten US security state and the economy of endless war. Give his podcast System Update a listen. He’s talented and fearless and reports on reality- I don’t have to to agree with his personal life
