LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A semi-truck exploded after crashing in Louisville Monday afternoon. The crash happened sometime around noon on I-65 South near the Kennedy Bridge. TRIMARC reports all lanes of the road are blocked. It's unclear at this time if there are any injuries or how the crash occurred. Photos from a TRIMARC camera near the bridge showed the moment the semi-truck exploded. It's not known what the semi was carrying.

Some of the photos are spectacular.
NOT hushaboom!
That looks like the tractor cab portion is burning. No explosion.
That’s also how it looks to me.
My take also.
Looks like a very wet road; I wonder if the driver overdid it going around that curve.
I just hope it’s not a repeat of East Palestine, Ohio.
So..is the bridge breaking? Or is it OK?
Both Kentucky and Indiana voted for Trump over Biden by wide margins...so this is no concern of the federal government.
Had something like that happen on I75 in suburban Detroit...
The bridge is probably toast
That truck took out a support under a bridge and caught fire, and the bridge collapsed. I-75 in Hazel Park.
I’m no engineer but it looks ok to me.
Here is a recent update, 1 dead the driver I think.
The one I was thinking of is the 75/696 interchange...
The heat from the fire warped the beams...
Heat plays hell on structural steel
That’s the one. 2009. Took out the 9 Mile Road bridge just south of 696. I live a mile from there.
One can’t award “The Turd Title Award” fast enough to keep up with the media.
