The newest stupid phrase is “move with pace.”

LOL! Every week when I went to our H.R. Staff Meeting I printed out a copy of my Wonk Word Bingo doc. Many of those words/phrases had a box.

Let’s take that offline.
We have to dimension the problem first.

I still hear people say “I’ll bet you a dollar to a doughnut” or “it’s dollars to doughnuts,” even though doughnuts today cost around $1.50.

Sure, it’s cringeworthy, Speaking of overused jargon ...
I find that word, and the mental attitude it represents, repulsive.

Not all of these are corporate-speak. Some are just hackneyed idioms. Personally, “verbing” grates on me more. For God’s sake, Charles Windsor will be “crowned” king this weekend, at his “coronation.” He will NOT be “coronated”!
To: DoodleBob
My favorite is “stakeholder” as in “we will listen to our stakeholders”.
It means everybody but you!

Was ‘big picture’ included....should be if not....or ‘let’s look at this from 30,000 feet’
I never understood “it is what it is.” WTF IS IT ? dammit !
Whomever uttered the phrase obviously didn’t know or couldn’t explain it,... unless they were just admitting they were clueless.
