Will the stock sink at some point? It's entirely possible. If it's going to happen, I think it will happen sometime in July, when their 2nd quarter earnings report is released. Unfortunately, by that point, we will have mostly forgotten about the whole situation.

Their marketing people have made their Budweiser brand synonymous with sissy girly men. Men will avoid the beer simply because they don't want to be associated with being weak and girly.

Men who drink it will be mocked. People will buy it for men just to mock them.

InBev may be fine overall, but that particular brand has been trashed, and it may never disassociate itself from being perceived as sissy/tranny beer.

This damage may be permanent.

The thing that leads me to believe the damage won't be permanent is the fact that Americans have s short attention span. Yeah, dudes that drink it will be made fun of for a while, even so, they've been made fun of for a while in my world. Long before this ever happened. As I pointed out in the original post, it's a crappy beer. And, I know how to brew my own. If I ain't drinking what I brewed, I'm likely drinking a pint from a local craft brewery.

They got broadsided and trashed, along with their name. I agree. I hope it gets worse for them.
