Carps are kind of exception. They have a lot of bones, so the bigger the comparatively less bones. The better taste.

They probably have the same problem with dynamite.
In WWII the convoy escorts had a hard time getting much variety or quality in their diets, so they would let a depth charge go off the Grand Banks.
