Not only that, but the battery also has to cool down for about 30 minutes, before the charger will let you charge. Then 180 minutes before you have a fully charged battery. What a crock.
I have an EGO 56v electric mower. The battery lasts enough to do my average sized lawns twice. It’s much lighter than a gas mower and doesn’t bog as easily in heavy grass. It costs about $400 at Lowes. I really like it.
The same with my Ryobi 18v chain saw. Good enough for home owner needs. Not as capable as the Sthil but easier to use and less dangerous.
I’d never get an electric car. But for mowers they aren’t a bad option.
