Scott Peterson is once again seeking to be released from prison.
Peterson has filed a new appeal in his 2004 murder conviction, claiming there's evidence that proves his innocence.
Unique Sign-up Bonus is One of the Best We’ve Seen The Motley Fool | Sponsored In the appeal he lays out six claims that he and his family believe will exonerate him.
It includes what they say is new evidence about a burglary across the street from the Peterson's home around the time his wife Laci vanished.
An exclusive photo of Peterson shows him talking to his family during a video call from the San Quentin State Prison last year.
Officials said he is sitting in a concrete cell in the photo with a virtual backdrop behind him.
The police and investigators stated publicly, the theory that he likely dumped them from a fishing boat in that area. BIG MISTAKE, IF there were others who killed the woman and child, how hard is it to dump the body in that area after hearing of this. Seriously, how did he possible get the victims into an aluminum boat and nobody could see that? It was a small boat, about waist high on a trailer.
The guy is a dirt bag, but the evidence does not build a case strong enough for me. We don’t convict over the character of the defendant, there must be evidence.
EXACTLY, he is a dirtbag. You need to convict based on evidence. I never saw it in my reading, or watching shows about it. Nancy Graceless is something like 0 for 100 on cases she loses her mind over, and she was never more jury tampering insane, than for this case.
Nancy Graceless is...
...a complete, government-worshiping bonehead.
I think there was more physical evidence for Casey Anthony killing her baby than for Scott Peterson killing his wife. But because men bad, women good, Scott gets life, and Casey walks free, not being charged for murder at all. Casey Anthony was sentenced to a four-year jail term and a $4,000 fine for four counts of lying to the police on July 7, 2011. However, the prison time is canceled out by the near three years already spent behind bars and credit for good behavior.
Okay,but who puts a 90lb anchor on a 14ft skiff?
So you support the juries convicting people of ‘insurrection’ on 1/6/21? It must be true, right?
I stand corrected, thank you.
Please show me where I said that in my comment.
>> Not when it is weighed down by concrete anchors. <<
Well, that’ll teach me not to comment when I don’t know what I am talking about!
