GMm/r² = mv²/r
v²= GM/r;
Vo = √(GM/r).
For an orbital altitude of 400 km,
Vo = 17,325 mph.
Earth’s rotational velocity is 1,035 mph. For objects on Earth to fly off into space the Earth’s rotation rate would have to be >17 times faster. QED
