I think you could do it if you started in a pot in January and moved it outside. I will say that it grows like a Ti plant, straight up, and has a great smell!

I grew it one year, but it did not grow to be large. I think I needed more heat and summer or I started it late. I was not impressed and decided I was better off getting it at the local Indian Grocery store or Oriental market. (Not a plant that does well in this or your growing region.)
