Every specialist is now thinking about what this kind of hi-res imaging can do for them. Heart specialist can now see very detailed images of the heart, etc.

Combine that image with those game goggles and you can hold the image in your hands for inspection.

This is good news. I had always believed the sensitivity of MRI could be improved d@mn near down to the molecule level.

Next engineering task - can we put this imaging technology in a machine that will be even MORE claustrophobia-inducing for the patient?

I mean, give even the most unshakeable a gut-wrenching episode that will power PTSD for years to come.

Interesting that these images look less like gross anatomy of the brain and more like an 1980s imagination of a futuristic computer projection.

I was watching the show below and Adam was worried about his old toy molds he made so he sent them away and they were scanned by a small CT machine - 6 minutes in. It is small in size. May one day been cheap to buy for small business or home use and 3D printing work.

My dentist uses a camera that scans all the teeth and creates a 3D image where they can make crowns and teeth for implants that fit right. He explains more at the link.
