Why even cite the Bible, as if it carried some kind of divine authority, while making yourself the arbiter of ultimate truth? Why quote Scripture if it can be trumped by the latest theories of psychology or sociology?

They are now almost an extinct breed, but there are amazing Christians who are Democrats.
These are truly good people who want to help others. They themselves volunteer endlessly, and in many cases dedicate their entire lives in many ways to helping the less fortunate.
But like I said, they are almost an extinct species, nearly all other Democrats just want to steal money from YOU to help the less fortunate and never do a thing themselves to help anyone but themselves.

I do know a few folks who profess to love and follow Jesus, yet they still vote for the party of anarchy, chaos, a diminished America and dead babies. I've never understood it. My belief is Christianity and the platform of today's modern Democrat party are wholly incompatible.
Hard to see either. Liberalism with its support of homosexuality, transgenderism, big government and abortion is at odds with Christianity.
