Mattel has been working overtime to expand their Barbie line. Here's Vitiligo Barbie:

Earlier today I saw some sort of makeup commercial featuring a black woman with this weird skin condition descending out of the sky on a parachute.

First time I saw it I wasn't paying attention, but I thought it looked bizarre. The next time I saw it I paused it. Yup. There was this huge white clown paint looking pattern around her mouth. Very unpleasant to look at.

I thought to myself, "They are selling makeup and they use someone who looks like this?"
