In, and still busy here in Michigan.
Attended a school board meeting yesterday evening where Honor Community Health was trying to set up shop in the school system.
“Paid for by DHHS grant” (taxpayer money)
“We just have to upgrade a classroom and have $274k of funds available” (construction costs $400k. Who pays heat & electric?)
“We follow Michigan law on juvenile consent” (and can point your child to another clinic without parental knowledge?)
“We have an agreement with the school board that NO reproductive rights will be discussed with children” (Today. But you know how things can change. Did we mention the other clinic we can point your child to?)
I gave my 3 minute summary that included some of the points above, along with bad personal experiences of doctors prescribing Focalin and Wellbutrin for my kids.
I also said that maybe we should look into what’s causing mental health issues in the kids, like chemicals in the air, maybe biological agents, or even 5G signals interfering with graphene oxide that’s passed the blood brain barrier.
I was one of at least 10+ people voicing similar concerns, 5 of which I’ve come to know and work with over the past 2 years.
Then there was a lady going up to the microphone and I overheard someone comment “lib inbound”. She knew she was outnumbered but still gave out the “but it’s free”, “don’t they care about our kids”, and the grand finale of “I don’t believe in the conspiracy theories”...
And with that last phrase, I knew I dunned good. Uber out.
:-)
