I think I see the problem and the reason why he committed suicide. These parents should be deeply ashamed of themselves that they cheerlead for their kids' mental illness rather than getting help for them.

There appears to be a "grass is greener" mindset with all this trans stuff. People are led to believe, and unfortunately encouraged by others, that "changing their gender" is the solution.

The end result is that the person now has a mutilated body, loses reproductive capability, and will likely never find a spouse. After all, what real man would marry a fake woman who is incapable of giving him babies, when there are so many real women around? Vice versa for any female trying to pass herself off as a man. Any woman who desires a man can get herself a real man.

On top of all that, the underlying mental illness is still there. All those hormone treatments and surgeries did nothing to address the root problem. Instead, they have only added to the individual's troubles by ensuring they will never have true love (such as a spouse).

I could see that leading to suicide.
