The abstract of a scientific study undertaken in 1994 has been making the rounds on social media, and it is shocking on two levels. The first wave of shock (although not surprise) comes at you from what the study discovered: the mothers of gender dysphoric boys tend to suffer from a host of mental illnesses of their own.

Fifty-three percent of the mothers of boys with GID compared with only 6% of controls met the diagnosis for Borderline Personality Disorder on the Diagnostic Interview for Borderlines or had symptoms of depression on the Beck Depression Inventory.

The very first few words of the piece — “This pilot study compared mothers of boys with gender identity disorder (GID) with mothers of normal boys…” — are enough these days to cost someone their job.

I don’t put much stock in the “metal illness” industry, but I do believe dysfunctional interactions with others in a family is every bit as communicable as a physical pathogen. I’ve seen it too many times, in my own family and as a police officer.

I highly suspect these mothers are raising their boys to be girls from birth.
The boys are normal, but by age six they are so conditioned by their mothers that they are girls the boys don’t stand a chance.................
There’s also a link between factitious disorder (Munchausen by proxy is a variety of that) and BPD:

Yes, overbearing mothers, or improperly intimate relationships with mothers, are one of the most commonly reported factors amongst serial killers.
So these dudes have ‘mommy issues’. Thanks feminists! You drove women into mental health issues and now, another generation later, your kids are messed up, doing harm to themselves and others. In addition, destroying women’s spaces - nice job.

Jordan Peterson had a great commentary on this.
He said that only a certain percentage of children are ‘trans’ and only a certain percentage of children are ‘gay’ and the chances of having two in one family are astronomical, unless the mother(or ‘parent’) is a flaming liberal.
This means it is the parent that’s the problem.
It’s the same with vegan cats you know it’s the vegan mother making the choice.
And the American Psychological Association and therapists aren’t helping (actually, contributing to the gender disfunction).
I know what you’re talking about. Small towns especially tend to know who the “problem families” are. So do neighborhoods to some extent.
These are the mothers who try to turn their boys into girls.
I had an elderly relative with one boy, who wanted a girl instead. I think she might have grown out his hair and dressed him in girl’s clothes until his dad said to knock it off.This would have been in the late ‘30s or early ‘40s.
So, the son never married but as far as we know had no relationship with anybody. My mom guessed he was “a-sexual” but it’s also possible he was extremely discreet. He turned out to be a successful artist and businessman and when he passed left some money to my mom. I hope he rests in peace.
gender confusion is a mental illness and should be addressed as such.
