Totally agree. But once the facts were in, he responded quickly.
Two problems with that statement:
1. When were "the facts in?" DeSantis and his Nazi health commissioner were still holding press conferences announcing closures of bars and restaurants in June of 2020.
2. This still doesn't excuse the abject idiocy of the original lockdowns -- which were preposterous on their face to anyone with half a brain who could think rationally ... like forcing people to stay home while closing parks and public spaces where they could be exposed to open air, like closing small retail stores while allowing the same merchandise to be sold in Target and Walmart, like announcing a statewide lockdown even while openly admitting that most parts of the state had very low COVID infection rates, etc., etc.
