Gov. Bill Lee (R) called the Tennessee legislature into special session Friday night hoping to secure the red flag gun control he began pushing on April 11, 2023.
Breitbart News reported Lee, once a stalwart for Second Amendment rights, caved to the left in the week’s after a 28-year-old transgender shot and killed six people at a Nashville Christian school.

Q1….Governor, as tragic as the event was, it is still a murder inside the city of Nashville and the state of Tennessee, why aren’t Nashville PD or the Tenn Bureau of Investigation handling the case?
Q2….Governor, who ceded control of the investigation to the FBI?
Q3….Governor, even if the DOJ or FBI wanted to label the event as a Hate Crime, which they haven’t, they would be running a parallel investigation, rather than running the whole investigation?
Q4….Governor, have you read her manifesto or any of the other documents, papers, journals, etc etc, that were removed and labeled evidence by the FBI, which are now being held from the Tennessee legislature?
Q5….Governor, if you have had access to the paperwork, what gives you the right, as Governor, to withhold that information from the legislature while at the same time asking us to pass gun control measures?
I can promise you, that he won’t have a legitimate answer for any of those questions.
Back when Tennessee was TENNESSEE, this would be a warning shot by the government boyz against the Tennesseans.

I agree that anyone identifying as LBGTQ garbage or transgender should be denied the right to own a firearm due to their mental illness.

Well, I think a lot of Baptists would be surprised to know that the SBC supports Lee’s ‘red flag’ efforts...unscriptural AND unconstitutional.
There’s no solution to insanity. However, the U.S. has a system designed to stop insane people from buying firearms. It’s the National Firearms Act.
The NFA failed to prevent the insane Nashville shooter from buying its firearms because the NFA only places people onto the NICS “No Sale” database who have been adjudicated insane and committed to a mental institution. The system relies on professional psychiatrists in charge of determining who is insane. The Nashville shooter claimed to be a transgender.
The Nashville shooter received its “stay out of the NICS database” card from the governing American Psychiatric Association. The APA does not recognize transgenderism as a form of insanity. The shooter was being treated as an outpatient.
Revise the National Firearms Act to specify that mental health professionals must place transgenders into the NICS “No Sale” database.
