So far, he hasn’t shown me he’s a straight shooter like Trump.
Why would someone who loves America oppose Trump like RDS seems to? Doesn’t make sense unless he has a hidden agenda for his own political aggrandizement like Cruz seemed to.
I agree about his staying in FL. I think he should stay gov in FL where he seems to be doing a great job.
He seems to be getting in the way seeking the glory he seems to be seeking.

That would suit me just fine. In fact, over the last couple of months I have been forming the opinion that Trump as POTUS in 2024 would be preferable —
The Donald can handle the the total firestorm that would ensue for the next four years, and then Mr. DeSantis can take the helm in 2028 and finish the job with his less bombastic, more administrative approach.
Donald Trump appears primed and ready for the fight he knows that’s ahead, so let him fight it. I will stand with him every inch of the way, as I always have. I look forward to seeing Deep State heads piled up like fruit on the steps of the Capitol, starting on day 1.
In the meanwhile, Florida will continue to be run by the most conservative, most effective governorship currently in existence. I can certainly live with that.
As for DeSantis being a Ted Cruz redux, that’s not happening. Which the fullness of time will prove.

Trump sends his people to trash DeSantis for making issues out of the them. Meanwhile the education system lead by liberal democrats are wresting control from parents and turning our kids and grandkids into mental case trans, homos and other sexual perversions.
Trump and his people need to realize that this is a big concern for republican voters.

You put it pretty well.
I listen to DeSantis now, and he turns me off. I don’t know what it is, other than it’s a visceral disinterest. He comes across as someone who doesn’t have a wealth of real world experience.
Say what you want about Trump, but the man has a Knap Sack full of interactions with just about every famous American in the late 20 to the present time.
Had he been a democrat, he’d be on Mount Rushmore.
He has ideas from his life.

I’m sorry, that I’m not more into Desantis, but he’d be making a huge mistake in my eye going up against Trump. I don’t see any positive side to it.
Oh, one more thing. He dresses terribly. Looks like dog poop, in a suit. The front collar of his white shirts are curled up in the corners, that indicates they’re not ironed but done at home.
