Who?
During 79-80, I was in a relationship with a German woman, who worked as a waitress. However, she was never with the Russians.
I often ate breakfast at her house, where invariably a couple of my soldiers were surprised by my appearance as their liasions had concluded from the previous night, with my GF's two female friends.
NEVER had a discipline problem during that TDY. It wasn't my great leadership, it was the nearby tourist town that came to life during the summer. I've never seen a greater concentration of newly divorced women, and they fell in love with my soldiers...we were the only Americans for 200 miles.
Nobody wanted to leave, lol.

I’ve been a fan since the 80s when I was in high school. I was lucky enough to see him live three times. What a great musician.
I have lately come to think of this song as the Hunter Biden theme song.
