You are right. The WEF inspired scam is very obvious. It is to make ICE powered vehicles as expensive to buy and operate as absurdly priced EVs that few people really want.

Interesting thought - Wonder when we will see surface mining of old landfills? Lot of plastic, Copper and other goodies that won’t degrade.
EVs aren’t about saving the planet any more than CoupFlu policy is about protecting public health.
It is both.
people will be able to travel back and forth to work, grocery stores and that’s it.
No long road trips unless you have special permission from the government. No vacations, no sightseeing.
Only ‘elite’ Party Members will get the long range vehicles. Not enough ‘natural resources’ for the ‘little people’.....................
ICE vehicles will be museum pieces and scrap metal.
Gasoline and diesel will not be allowed on the market available to the general public, Military and Government vehicles only.
The only vehicles allowed on the streets will be EVs. No plates for ICE vehicles. No parts for repairs to upkeep them. You will not be able to get insurance for them.
In fact, you may not even be able to have one sitting in your yard..................................
I’ve thought about that for decades.
They could mine the garbage filling the Pacific Ocean from Asian cities...................
Went to California on vacation and thought about renting an EV. Hard to locate charging stations to “fill up” when at limit of 200 miles—and insurance was $42. per DAY. imagine trying to recharge before your flight checckin or what the rental place would charge.
