Zeb Snyder was a 17-year-old junior at United High School. He passed away after suffering a seizure. The United Local School District is mourning the loss of a 17-year-old student who died suddenly April 13.
Zeb Snyder, a UHS junior, died after suffering a seizure Thursday. According to a GoFundMe online, Zeb had been put on medication for a seizure he had previously had in hopes to help him. Unfortunately he suffered another seizure, in which took his young life.
The money raised from the GoFundMe created in Zeb’s honor is going to a scholarship in his honor.
“One of his former classmates will receive this Scholarship, a classmate particularly in the Ag Industry as that is what Zeb wanted to pursue,” the GoFundMe page read. “In this way, he will be forever carried and remembered.”
According to Zeb’s obituary, the 17-year-old was the treasure of the school’s FFA chapter, a member of the 4-H club and was a boy scout.

Many are remembering Zeb’s for his work ethic and his faith.
“To his family, Zeb was a quiet, simple soul who brought a sense of peace with him no matter where he was in life,” his obituary read. “Although sometimes short on words, he understood the complexity of existence and knew to have faith in God above all else when difficulties arose.”

He was a fifth year pipestone holder and also worked at Minerva Dairy.
Zeb is survived by his parents Vernon and Melissa (Sanor) Snyder, a sister, Emma Snyder, brother, Gabe Snyder, maternal grandmother, Darlene Sanor, paternal grandparents, Walter and Linda Snyder, and nephew, Brantley Cox of Minerva.
He died of coincidence.
