"Did those girls blunder into the middle of something shady, or were they engaging in the shady and something went sideways in the transaction."Good analysis. No matter what, the man shouldn't have shot the girls, but why did he overreact over a girl getting into the car by mistake?

I'm not accepting the media descriptions at face value - there is not even a source being identified as to where that even came from. Lots of emotion and hysterics being broadcast, with no concrete details & sources, just like with the other two "accidents". Every single media outlet is parroting the same storylines, which demonstrates a narrative is systematically being built.
More details about the Pedro character. Word is he fled and had to be tracked down, arrested "hours later". So now the guy appears to have been lurking past midnight in the parking lot of a closed store, with a gun - I checked, that location shuts at 11 pm. One interesting thing said is the police had the "help of the store manager" - not sure if it's by providing security video, or that Pedro has a connection to the store somehow. Either a night employee, or was waiting on one. Or else the guy had no connection at all and was there up to something fully shady. More details yet to be ferreted out.
