There will be a lot of moths flitting around, laying eggs and producing mucho caterpillars and worms.
Some of these pretty flowers have stickers on the seeds.
And when they dry out - haven for Arsonists.
Do those flowers look so pretty now? Well YES. In spite of the downside.

Inflation is twice what it should be but it was so bad earlier that Biden can claim victory for “not as horrible.” Politics.
I bought a big-a55 can of CA Poppy seeds from the local ACE hardware before moving to AR.
Can’t get the damn things to grow here fer nuthin’.
