Do you not know anyone under 30? They are always thinking about anything that they might be able to post on social media that can get them some clout. That seems to occupy about 98% of their mind’s capacity for thought at any given moment.

I agree. See those type of videos all the time. But usually from the 20 something crowd. These are middle schoolers, 11-13 year old kids. It’s rare when I run across that type of video (”this is going to go viral!”, is one of many declarations heard on those videos) from someone that young.

Besides which, I’m thinking there is the possibility of a cell phone video of the incident existing (in the video at the link there is a quick still photo of a bunch of school kids, bit its purposely blurred. Which is what makes me think of the possibility of a video existing), and could have been squashed. Most likely due to the ages of the students.
