The other day I drove the long stretch of I-5 between Modesto, CA, and the Tehachapis, and I counted no fewer than 3 Teslas in distress on the side of the road. Guessing this is mainly the result of range miscalculation on the part of users. In any case, for long road trips, the EV concept clearly still compares unfavorably to internal combustion.
I’m not one to brag. But you’ll never see my electric vehicle stranded by the side of the road. I plan ahead.
