A Florida middle school teacher has been arrested for hosting student fights and letting her kids brawl in the classroom, according to reports. Angel Footman, 23, allegedly allowed kids to sock each other senseless as she looked on from her desk, sometimes telling kids not to record the blows or attract attention by screaming and yelling.

Another “no need to look” moment.
Coach Hill, at my Junior High, also taught Texas History. In his classroom there was a work table in the back, that was out of eye-sight from the classroom door.
When he caught students fighting, he would ask them if they want to get the paddle, a call to their parents, and probably a suspension, or if they would like to settle this once and for all with a “smoker”.
He would move the table and give them each a pair of boxing gloves and give them 2-minute rounds until they decided the “issue was settled”.
Most of us chose the smoker over the Principal’s office. Back then most of us who got swats at school got more from our parents once we got home!!
