Anheuser-Busch has been having conversations with NASCAR teams about its plans for next year after Kevin Harvick retires, according to people familiar with the matter, and Trackhouse Racing is said to be a favorite to land the brewer’s business.
A-B has a long history of sponsoring drivers, races and NASCAR itself, and began partnering with its current team, Stewart-Haas Racing, when Harvick joined in 2014. With Harvick set to retire after this season and join the Fox Sports broadcast booth full time, SHR and its sponsors are now sorting out their futures as it relates to the No. 4 Ford he drives. Industry sources familiar with the situation have identified the third-year team Trackhouse Racing and its breakout star driver Ross Chastain as a likely favorite to partner with A-B next year, suggesting the sides have already been having deep discussions...
Bad beer made by bad people.
NASCAR needs to de-woke itself, change the rules back to the way they were before all this playoff crap.
Obviously NASCAR was a priority to be taken over by woke executives, otherwise this shouldn’t even be up for discussion.
The message they want to send is that what you want does not matter, because they can do what they want anyway.
Give it to the Juicy Smellit of Nascar guy. Then we can enjoy another reason to boycott
I foresee a new paint job in the future for some cars.
Who cares? I dropped NASCAR a few years ago. And I don’t drink Pudweiser, either.
Will Dylan Mulvaney’s face be on the cars?
That’s the question … Lol !
I would be. Unless they do a complete 180 and beg forgiveness, I see them having trouble in NASCAR and hundreds of other venues. Heck, one report from that Texas dart tournament says they go through 3 kegs every event...and yet sold like 4 beers last week.
Anheuser-Busch lost it’s Man card and Beer card and Racing card and Fraternity card and......
Is AB going to sponsor a “drag race”?
NASCAR is still waiting for the ‘historic’ first transvestite driver.
Driver doesn’t care, teams don’t care.. NASCAR isn’t cheap, someone willing to cut that huge check to sponsor you, few teams are going to say no, regardless of the product.
If a team does accept the sponsorship, do they (and budweiser) realize the less-than-positive headlines ahead of them might be worse than avoiding NASCAR altogether?
Noosecar died the day that Brian France took over from his father and grandfather.
Anheuser Busch and Noosecar are bathed in WOKE-ness.
They deserve each other.
By Memorial Day, their sales are going to rebound because it's going to be grilling season and Bud and Busch Light are very popular in the rural areas. Then it's going to be college and pro football season.
That's why AB's Twitter feed went dark, they're just going to let this marinate in for a while and by summer it'll be forgotten and people will go right back to drinking their piss water.
And for those who scream "just drink local" - well it's not that easy, trust me. You can't sit and drink craft beers continuously, those are meant for casual settings or dinner. When you want to sit outside on the deck and get drunk with the fellas, you're going to drink the dirty 30 packs of AB, Coors or Miller beers.
