Loved MAD mag. Couldn’t wait for the next issue. As I look back, it was the “Blazing Saddles” of childish adult humor. Made me feel so grown up to poke sophisticated-slapstick fun at cultural trends.

Great satire. One has to have some amount of smarts. to understand most of it.
Two of my favorite articles was the parody of West Side Story, replacing Jets and Sharks with the United States and Russia...with political lyrics replacing the plays original text of the songs.
The second was the fake IKEA catalog entitled IKRAPPA.Having being greatly disappointed of the prices and quality of IKEA merchandise, the catalog had me laughing in tears.
