The body of a missing Northern California man was found in a shallow grave in Mexico ..
Wilmer “Dino” Trivett was abducted and killed by a Mexican man and his sister, with whom he allegedly got into a heated dispute following a car accident, prosecutors in the state of Baja California Sur said.
The 80-year-old, who had been visiting Mexico, was last seen Feb. 11,..
A specially trained dog made the grim discovery of Trivett’s body, which was hidden in a shallow pit in the town of Todos Santos, on Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.
State prosecutor Daniel de la Rosa said the siblings, who have not been publicly identified, were arrested on homicide charges in connection to the killing.
BNO News reported their first names are Juan Hector and Joseline Guadalupe.
The siblings and Trivett reportedly got into an argument following the car accident.
Prosecutors said Trivett had paid the pair 50,000 Mexican pesos, or about $2,700 USD, either to cover damages to their vehicle or their injuries.
...
Months later and still enraged from the accident, the greedy pair decided that the payment wasn’t enough. The two then abducted and killed Trivett.
...
Trivett, who was originally from Markleeville, a Northern California town near Lake Tahoe, had been living out of his camper truck in Baja California.
Nearly two weeks after his disappearance, authorities discovered Trivett’s camper had been burned up on Feb. 23.

Have never been further south than TJ, but I assume that is a really bad idea?
You go to Mexico, you get what you deserve.
I hear lots of kalifornians live in messyco, much to the dismay of native messycans. But is the less expensive cost of living really worth the risk?
Good thing our Southern border isn’t a security problem
Yesterday my next-door neighbor told me his cartel member cousin had been killed for making a membership mistake.
Cabo San Lucas and San Jose De Cabo are controlled by the cartels and the Mexican Marines/Federales.
Once you fly in and get there you are protected. They do not want the tourists bothered. I was told by multiple people that IF any person bothers the tourists you(the Mexican)will end up dead. Cabo is safer than many places in the USA. Especially the Dem controlled cities.
The TJ cartel owns many of the businesses and hotels in Cabo. They do not want anyone bothering tourists and screwing up the money laundering profits. Some of those hotels are very expensive. Well over $1000/night.
However, I would not drive into Mexico at all. Anyone driving into Mexico from the USA is gambling with their life. Although, I would not be surprised IF the Mexican nationals that killed this Gringo are found dead in their cell or worse.
I met a lady from CA(when I was in Cabo last month) who had a condo in Cabo. She told how about 5 years ago there were local criminals preying on the tourists. Petty crimes, purse snatching, etc. The cartel and local government put out a cease and desist order. STOP now or else. A few days later there were four banditos hanging from the bridge on the main road going into town. After that all the bad hombres disappeared. Probably into the Pacific or shallow graves out in the Baja. Nobody has bothered the tourists since.
I also met a limo driver who had moved to St Louis when he was a kid from Mexico. He, his American wife and kids moved back to Cabo because he could now make more money there than in MO. He also said it was safer to raise his kids in Cabo than MO.
Seems to me that’s like living near an active volcano because of the rich, fertile soil. A good life, until it isn’t.
“ You go to Mexico, you get what you deserve.”
And Biden is allowing thousands of those people to Ross the border daily.
The crime across the country is going to increase exponentially due to this invasion.
I am not interested in living there, but it was a nice place to visit.
There have been people living on the side of the Big Island of Hawaii for 10000 years or more.
Some of them downhill from the most active volcano in the world. It is the reason for the difference in price for real estate on the Kona side or the Hilo side of the island.
Being drunk just makes them better. Car’s hold the road better when you have a dozen or so passengers.
A few winters ago we had one who made their pickup truck fly going off a bridge and land in the water.
the natives will eventually turn on them.
I worked in Mexico for about a year and a half in the mid-90s and drove between Tucson and southern Sonora every month. I sort of liked the Mexican driving style. Nobody was too concerned about little things like stop signs and lane markings, but NOBODY wanted to get in an accident.
One thing that took a little getting used to was when you’d come up behind a slower vehicle on the highway and he’d put on his left turn signal. That meant either “Go ahead and pass,” or “I am about to turn left,” and you’d better guess correctly.
These days I would never set foot across the border for any reason. No need, since a large part of Mexico is already here.
That is the Rats’ goal. A destabilized society justifying a totalitarian murder state.
