Negotiations on the recognition of the Taliban by Russia have entered the final stage.
Most likely, official recognition will take place in the summer or early autumn of this year.

FJB has accomplished the impossible.
Don't count out Obama too!
They have succeeded in organizing the entire middle-east and south asia - against the USA.
Rogue state recognizing another rogue state. And yes, this is Brandon’s doing.
I have no problem recognizing the Taliban; they all dress and talk and act very similarly.
It took 43 years of American assistance, but the Russians finally are winning their Afghan war. Let’s go, Brandon.
That may mean that the Russians will have access to the $83B of OUR military equipment that was left in Afghanistan after disastrous withdrawal.
Brandon gave Putin the green light to invade Ukraine in a “minor incursion” and Putin and his crappy military screwed up the deal.
Pedo Joe you magnificent bastard, you’ve got all the enemies of the US right where they want us.
Fixed it for you. The actual replacement cost of the equipment and bases is likely 10 times what we have been told however.
Soon American Humvees abandoned to the Taliban in Afghanistan by Biden will be seen in Ukraine in Russian service.
More consequences of a stolen election.
More “return to normalcy” and unity, Well done chomo Joe. Obama really got the ball rolling for the destruction of America, Chomo Joe is doing an outstanding job finishing it off.
We had transferred helicopters to Ukraine already for use and repair. My understanding was a lot of what was left behind was not usable by the Taliban or was made unusable. Of course we had no way of anticipating that Russia was going to start a war and might find old broken down US materiel useful if repaired or for parts. Also, if President Trump had planned for us to be out in April, why wasn’t a lot of this already moved if it was worth our reusing? I also have the same question regarding why there were so few of our translators and other helpers who had not been processed for removal by Springtime. One reason Biden had to delay the shut down appears to be because so much remained undone.
By the way, $83B was the amount our military spent on supplies for the 20 years we were operating in Afghanistan. I think the figure for what was left behind and mostly no longer of use to us was around $8 B.
