I have thought that since the Rittenhouse case.

His fighting back against the four felons who attacked him put a pause on the riots. I was a bit confused for a while because they did not fit in with any of the supposed reasons that were given for the riots. And then I realized it is not about race or color or sex or anything but about criminals against the law abiding. And the legal system is in favor of the criminals.

Make things really violent and normal people will beg for a crack down. And when normal people get cracked by "accident" they will argue that it was really all their fault for not doing what the nice government told them to.

This is going to lead to some where very bad.

It already is leading to bad places.

Not enough people take personal freedom seriously and instead rely on gov to do it, or another entity. They fail to realize that they alone are responsible for not only their own safety and freedom, but of those around them.
