A "Supergroup" put together by George Harrison of the Beatles and and Jeff Lynne, who produced the albums, of Electric Light Orchestra. Originating from an idea discussed by Harrison and Lynne during the sessions for Harrison's 1987 album Cloud Nine, the band formed in April 1988. Members George Harrison. Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan.
George Harrison, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty are no longer with us. RIP. ELO , with Jeff Lynne, performed this song when I saw them in Denver.
Loved this album and the short term group The Traveling Wilburys.
Jeff Lynne orchestrated and produced so much of this album. Certifiable genius; plus Jim Keltner on drums outdid himself. He not-so-subtly carried these exquisite songs.
Mrs. M and I listen to the album often while on road trips. Great “travelin’” music!
The Traveling Wilburys - love these guys.
Love these two songs - “End of the Line (”It’s Alright”) and “Handle With Care”.
The irony of “End of the Line” is how many of these guys died no too long after the Travelling Wilburys disbanded.

I saw ELO on tour the year before the pandemic mess, so - July, 2019. Dhani Harrison was the opening act and Jeff had Dhani join ELO on stage and sing the lead vocals on this song. He’s the spitting image of his dad and sounds like him, too.
Wow. Wish I could have seen them.
Saw first Cream shows at NYC Fillmore East, Jimi Hendrix burning a guitar, the Beatles on tour, and one Bob Dylan all acoustic introducing new songs for Another Side album, then first Bob Dylan electric tour with booing and the 1974 tour with the Band.
I LOVE “End of the Line (’It’s Alright’)” and that fantastic video. Everybody is having so much fun in the video!
Great message in the song, too.
this must be the End of the Line?
End of the Line was written about Roy Orbison’s death. In the official video the empty rocking chair that is rocking is for Roy Orbison.
I forgot about the empty rocking chair for Orbison. That was a cool touch.
I saw the Rolling Stones at the Lakeland Civic Center when they were doing their "Some Girls" tour and playing mostly small venues. Until they came on stage no one was really sure that it was them. The tickets said "The Great Southern Stoned Out Wrestling Champions", and there were only rumors that it was them. They only sold tickets for about half of the capacity of the center so it was easy to just walk up to the front of the stage.
‘End of the Line’ my FAV.
.
Saw ELO with Blue Oyster Cult and
Robin Trower at the
Hollywood Paladium.
Like I could remember when...
stay away from the brown acid!

It’s alright-—cause I’m Satisfied !
i loved this band
I believe their second album was called album #3 to make everyone wonder “Did I miss something?” A great “Super group”. They loved to sit around a kitchen table and play ukueles.
How did the loop his voice into the song that was written after his death?
Was that c. 1980, on the Stones?
They played the Fox Theater in Atlanta in that time frame. A storied venue, but much smaller than they generally played. The tickets were sold via a 1 time announcement on 96 Rock, which went something like “The Rolling Stones are playing the Fox on < date>. Tickets go on sale at the Fox box office only in one hour.” And that was it.
A buddy heard it and went directly there. He said there were people driving like fools to get there, and they sold out directly. The tickets read “The Cockroaches” in a joking nod to The Beatles, and to try to suppress scalping.
