The Los Angeles Police Department on Saturday identified the attempted murder suspect at the center of Friday’s hours-long pursuit that ended in West Carson after traveling through multiple cities in Los Angeles County.
Police also named two women accused of helping the suspect in his getaway attempt and provided an update on the puppy that was tossed from a moving vehicle during the chase.
The investigation is ongoing, and more charges could be coming, as during the pursuit, a puppy in a designer handbag was thrown from a moving vehicle, police said.
“Miraculously the dog emerged unharmed and was rescued by responding LAPD officers,” police said. “The puppy is now in the care of South L.A. Animal Services, where it is presently being held pending an investigation into the abandonment concern that was noted during the pursuit.”

Yet, people can walk into any store, loot it, and nothing happens.
I saw some of the chase on YouTube live. They saw the driver toss something out but the news guys didn’t know it was a dog.

Can one of us volunteer to throw those two women out of a speeding car? We’ll even offer to put them in bags.
Most assuredly, the puppy is the only one worth saving. Poor little guy.
Dogs are people too. Go to a pro-choice, pro-murder babies, protest and holler that a dog was hurt...
Out rage and tears for the dog. Killing babies, nada.
I once asked a leftist neighbor (she moved away after PDJT won because she didn't want to live around “these kind of people”) if she found an abandoned baby and an abandoned kitten on the side of the road but could only save one, which one she would save; the kitten of course! She actually said the reason was because the kitten couldn't fend for itself. She didn't understand why everyone was aghast at her answer.
Throw them from a moving car ...
It will now be adopted into a loving home -- you can be sure of that from the publicity of the story and the fact that animal rescue organizations actually do background checks on people wanting to adopt puppies.
And people wonder why I like dogs more than I like people.
