I work in the maritime field - yachts - and see hypocrisy and brash, wholesale extermination of all things green by self-proclaimed environmentalists all the time. Not one can fix the engines they demand at full-throttle, or would deign to scar their hands with the chemicals we use to keep their possessions squeaky-clean. I worked the So. Cal. coast and looking at the house on Two and a Half Men I wondered if people knew how much maintenance and replacement it takes to keep that beach house looking pristine and shiny in the ocean spray, and yachts are kept shiny and fresh.
