My impression was that brand loyalty was very important to Jack and that it isn’t easy to get people to grab a bottle of Jack Daniels on impulse.
In Texas a lot of conservative men are confirmed Jack Daniels drinkers. I don’t see how this isn’t a long-lasting serious blow to Jack.
A masculine branding like Jack Daniels had can be killed in an instant and can take generations to rebuild.
