The agenda behind noir films was bad when you research it, but I can't stop watching these doggone flicks.
Probably because that agenda is actually wholesome compared to the agenda behind today's movies.

What a cheesy movie! I’ve never seen it before. My mom probably wouldn’t let me see it when I was 7 when it came out.
Interestingly, it takes place in Downingtown, Chester County, PA where my folks moved to in 1969!
