We need to get our terms defined once and for all. The Army taught me this MP5 is an automatic rifle, not a machine gun. I have been taught a machine gun is an open bolt, belt-fed, automatic weapon.

Good points you make, alas I don’t have too much skin in this game as I only have an AR-7 (less than 1/2 as evil as an AR-15).
